“THE SAVIOR-STRONG GOD/MAN”

Not just pagans, but sinful man is always looking for a “sign from heaven.” ‘God, if you will just cure my Mother, save my wife, bring back my child, ahh…let me win the lottery then I will believe in you, follow you, and serve you.’ Those who remain looking for a “sign” i.e. a miracle of power and glory will follow the damned into hell who blasphemed “If He be the king of Israel, let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe Him.” [Mt. 27.42]
The Lord did not come down from the cross in brilliance and flash, in victory and triumph as Satan would have urged, as you would want him, from your sinful nature, to do in your life…for you and yours…that is for “your will be done.” The Christ suffered and died. He kept His kingdom united and inviolate against sin, death, and Satan. He kept His Word unbroken and undivided. He fulfilled all Scripture by being the Paschal, sacrificial Lamb of God. He suffered and died and thus went deep into the “strong man’s” infernal palace of brimstone and rot. By obeying The Father’s Commandments Jesus let Himself fall to veiling His Divinity and having the Law’s condemnatory indictment nailed into His innocent Flesh. Jesus by being “seemingly” weak, by being silent and gentle as the Lamb of atonement stripped the serpent of all his impious armor. By dying and being buried Jesus cast out the devils and destroyed death forever.
Jesus was mocked cruelly when the unbelievers called him an ally of Beelzebub. He is today scorned and calumniated against when non-believers, and even believers, doubt His Word, His Holy Scriptures, and His Sacraments, and instead request and cajole (whine) for splendor, wealth, and an earthly so-called “social” form of justice. The only Justice is The God dying on The Tree. The only righteousness is the Savior who cleans out the stygian pig troughs of your trespasses and Satan’s temptations by letting Himself become filthy and unclean in His substitutionary purging. Jesus now this day again not only sweeps your house clear of evil but He garnishes it with His own actual presence as you eat and drink His Body and Blood. With your tents filled by His Holy Ghost and by His Father, and by Himself, your today “state” is infinitely better and secure and immortal than was your first state of death and damnation.
The real Strong Man, the Savior/God Man is your action, your voice, your Head. You are the woman—The Holy Bride—The Church which now is Graced to nurse at the paps of the Milk of the Pure Word and rightly administered Sacraments.
Blessed are you that hear The Word of God…for you are kept by it.
